Happy New Year and welcome to my first blog post of the year, Fine Lines 2018! I hope you had a relaxing and fun festive season, or if it’s still going – enjoy!
I’m looking forward to sharing so much more of the Bali fashion scene and my personal style with you over the next 12 months. I’m in the process of planning the year ahead and have some fun travels and projects in the pipeline. If you like the places I showcase and keen to see more, I’d love to hear from you. Let me know what else you’d like to see of Bali fashion and lifestyle On Any Given Day.
Comment below and I’ll get back to you.
Shopping Experience 2018
The Bali fashion and boutique scene is exploding with so many good shopping options now available. Canggu is really developing as a stand alone shopping hub with the likes of Velvet the Label, 21 Dgrs and old favourites Auguste and Magali Pascal all in close proximity. I am in the process of developing some Shopping Experiences for 2018 and hope to launch these at the end of January. So, if you live in Bali or holidaying here soon, I’d love to take you to my favourite boutiques…. with a coffee and cocktail along the way! Is there any other way to shop?
But first, let’s start the year off with Fine Lines 2018, featuring the beautiful Bali based label, Palma Australia.
Fine Lines Short Dress
As part of their recently released collection, Palma Australia has introduced the versatile Fine Lines Short Dress. With a sophisticated look, this off the shoulder dress is something different from many other Summer dresses currently available. With stripe print and oversized silhouette, the dress comes with a matching belt for a more fitted look, or can be worn loose for a more casual approach.
The dress is available in Black or Pink stripes. I wear size S. $125 AUD.

There are many ways this dress can be styled. I decided to style this with a relaxed, luxe sporty vibe. I’ve never been great at accessorising, however since I started the blog I’ve made more of an effort to mix things up. I now have a ridiculous number of sunglasses – which can totally make a look!
Stradivarius – Shoes and Sunglasses
One of my favourite shops in Bali for accessories such as hats, shoes and costume jewellery is Stradivarius at Beachwalk shopping mall in Kuta. This Spanish label provides some really cool Boho inspired fashion. The white trainers I wear are Stradivarius, a brand definitely worth checking out!
The sunglasses in this post are also Stradivarius. I love the rose lenses.
There are so many great Bali rattan bags at the moment. I bought this one from a local market in Seminyak, it cost me $25 AUD. This is my favourite style at the moment as it offers easy access and lots of room, unlike many other styles around at the moment. This particular style of bag can be found easily around Bali.
